Promoting Professionalism and Integrity in Aviation Maintenance

Our purpose is to expand the AMT's knowledge on current Flight Safety issues and provide an open forum to report maintenance compliance issues. Corrective actions and guidance on FAA certificate action or regulatory compliance issues will also be of primary importance.

T.S.A.P.

The primary purpose of the TechOps Safety Action Program (TSAP) is to identify safety events and to implement corrective measures that reduce the opportunity for safety to be compromised. The TSAP program is intended to improve aviation safety through self-reporting, cooperative follow-up, and appropriate corrective action.

The three-person TSAP Event Review Committee is composed of one member each from the IBT, UAL and the FAA.

Please see your safety representative or the union bulletin board for questions or concerns regarding the filing of TSAP reports or other safety-related issues.
